Bronx, New York:  The Latest Garifuna Coalition ROUNDTABLE Meeting will take place on SATURDAY February 8th 2014 in the Bronx at 10am.

Held approximately one Saturday morning a month and led by Jose Francisco Avila, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Garifuna Coalition; the Garifuna Coalition Garifuna Roundtable Meeting is a gathering of various individuals representing various Garifuna organizations in New York City or simply individuals who have the Garifuna Community’s interests at heart. Garifuna Roundtable Attendees meet to strategize on how to best work together to improve the Garifuna Community.

The Roundtable’s central purpose is to pursue the development of a common agenda that will improve the social, economic, civic and cultural conditions of the Garifuna Immigrant Community in New York City and provide a high quality of life for the city’s citizens.
