Garifuna American WILLIE LOPEZ found Stabbed to Death Inside Hallway of Bronx Apartment Building


Bronx, NY — News outlets have reported that Garifuna American WILLIE LOPEZ was found stabbed to death in the hallway of the Bronx Apartment building that he lived in on Wednesday night, May 11th 2016.  According to reports, he was 32 years old. Mr. Lopez was found lying on the floor bleeding in the sixth floor hallway of his apartment building at 1521 Sheridan Avenue in the Bronx at approximately 10:30pm Wednesday night.  He had a stab wound to the chest and was unconscious and unresponsive.  He was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.  There isn’t any explanation given as to what sparked the conflict that led to the stabbing that killed Mr. Willie Lopez.
