I saw a few video clips on Facebook, but was not there in person. Hopefully, video of the entire 2023 Miss Garifuna USA New York City Cultural Pageant is posted onto the Internet, perhaps on YouTube. Once I see that video, I will update this posting with more details regarding this special event.

Those in attendance represented a sizeable audience, however to my eye there was not as large an audience as in years past. Perhaps the cold, windy and rainy weather kept people home. This was the first public Miss Garifuna USA New York City Cultural Pageant held since the Covid-19 Pandemic took place (2020 through 2022).

.

Over the last couple of years, The Miss Garifuna USA New York City Cultural Pageant was held virtually on the Internet / computer / smartphone and the public seemingly is still adjusting to being outside.
