Lubbock, Texas – On Saturday, March 9th 2024 at The United Supermarkets Arena, Fans and Supporters of The Texas Tech Red Raiders Men’s College Basketball Team gathered to honor and celebrate The College Basketball Careers of Joe Toussaint and Warren Washington as their Men’s College Basketball Careers are ending.

In the Final Home Game of the regular season, The Texas Tech Red Raiders Men’s Basketball Team played against The Baylor Bears of Baylor University from Waco, Texas. Both teams represent The Big 12 conference.

The Senior Day Festivities enabled Mr. Joe Toussaint from The Bronx to celebrate his Men’s College Basketball Career with his family, friends, colleagues and supporters.

.

Mr. Joe Toussaint is a 23 Year Old Guard from the Bronx. Six Feet tall and 190 Pounds, he is of Honduran Garifuna Heritage through his mother, Mrs. Satuyee Toussaint, who herself is a Compliance Coordinator, Garifuna Advocate and Involved Evangelical Church member from San Juan, Honduras.

Also, Joe’s mother, Mrs. Satuyee Toussaint is the daughter of noted Garifuna Choreographer, Dancer, Director and Founder of The National Garifuna Ballet of Honduras, Mr. Armando Crisanto Melendez, so Joe Toussaint’s lineage includes relatives who have made an impact and imprint on the world.

Joe Toussaint’s father, as suggested by his last name, I believe is of Haitian Heritage, although I have not confirmed that information.

Men’s College Basketball Career of Mr. Joe Toussaint

.

.

Mr. Joe Toussaint played one season (this past season) with Texas Tech, he transferred from West Virginia University, where he played for the West Virginia Mountaineers.

.

Prior to playing one season at West Virginia, Joe played 3 Seasons at Iowa University, where he played for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

.

Mr. Joe Toussaint went to Cardinal Hayes High School in The Bronx. There, he became the all-time leading Boy’s Basketball scoring leader and was named a finalist for The 2019 Mr. Basketball in New York Award.

In the Senior Day game against Baylor, Mr. Joe Toussaint scored 8 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and passed 4 assists in 34 minutes of playing.
