Bronx, New York – IHCAP Inc (International Honduran Central American Parade) have announced that American Choreographer and Dancer of Honduran Garifuna Heritage, Mr. Mariano Martinez, will be Honored and Celebrated at The 2024 Central American Fundraiser Gala in the Bronx.

.

.

Mr. Mariano Martinez was born and raised in New York City to Honduran Garifuna Parents. His family is from Santa Fe, Honduras.

.

In addition to being a Choreographer and Dancer, Mr. Mariano Martinez is also an Entrepreneur.

.

He sold T-shirts and created J Dove Productions, an Event Choreography Company. Mariano Choreographed the Entrance Dances of Quinceñearas and Sweet Sixteen Birthday Celebrations.

.

In Latin American communities, those Birthday Celebrations are Crucial Cultural Coming of Age Ceremonies.

.

The impact of Mariano’s guidance and direction in those Birthday Celebrations cannot be measured, but I sense that the impact will reverberate for the rest of these Youths lives.

.

Last year, Mr. Mariano Martinez took part in the Hey Neighbor NYC Public Art Exhibition.

.

.

That experience, I am told, was significant.

.
