International Superstar Garifuna Singer Songwriter Musician, Mr. Aurelio Martinez, has been conducting FREE Garifuna Drumming Workshops.

The final FREE Garifuna Drumming Workshop at The Bronx Music Heritage Center will take place on SUNDAY, October 30th 2022 at 3pm.

On Saturday, October 15th 2022 and Sunday, October 23rd 2022, Those interested in Garifuna Music and Garifuna Culture were able to take part in what is billed as “Drumming Workshops and Master Classes with Aurelio Martinez, Garifuna Percussionist, Composer, Musician and Cultural Ambassador.

These Master Classes and Drumming Workshops served as an not only an opportunity to learn about Garifuna Music but for those who are out of touch with Garifuna Culture it served as an opportunity to become reacquainted with an aspect of Garifuna Culture.

Hosted by Co-Artistic Director of the Bronx Music Heritage Center Laboratory, Mr. Bobby Sanabria, an accomplished musician in his own right, this 7 Time Grammy Nominated Artist got the opportunity to learn more about Garifuna Music and Garifuna Culture.
