Bronx, New York – Viewing, Funeral and Burial Information for American NYPD Probationary Police Officer of Honduran Garifuna Heritage, Mr. Edgar A. Ordoñez, have been announced.

Mr. Ordoñez collapsed Wednesday morning July 10th 2024, during training at a NYPD Outdoor Training Facility in the Bronx.

Mr. Ordoñez was scheduled to Graduate from the Police Academy and officially join the New York Police Department next week.

The services will take place over two days next week in mid-July.

As noted in the above headline at the top of this post, the services will take place on WEDNESDAY, July 17th 2024 and THURSDAY, July 18th 2024.

Viewing Services will take place on WEDNESDAY, July 17th 2024 in two separate shifts. The first is from 2pm to 5pm in the afternoon and the second shift is from 7pm to 9:30pm in the evening.

According to the Flyer, the Viewing will take place at St. Anselm Roman Catholic Church.
