New York City, New York – Internet Personality, La Gata Salvaje Miau Miau (“The Wildcat Meow Meow” in Spanish) passed away reportedly from Cardiac Arrest on February 13th 2023.

Born Maria Luisa Guity Chavez, and from Honduras. I couldn’t confirm which Honduran town she was from. I am told Corozal, Honduras, but have not confirmed that. I also couldn’t confirm what her regular profession was.

It’s hard to describe and categorize La Gata Salvaje Miau Miau. In short, she was mostly known for having developed an audience watching or listening to her talk about her life on her Livestreams on Facebook.

Her attitude during her livestreams also helped develop her audience in that she had no filter and seemed to not be able to censor herself. Sometimes Profane and always Unfiltered, she behaved in a way that most in polite society couldn’t or wouldn’t. La Gata Salvaje Miau Miau said and did what you wouldn’t dare say or do.

La Gata Salvaje Miau Miau’s willingness to try and do ANYTHING allowed those who paid attention to her to sort of live vicariously through her.

While she definitely had faced many challenges in her life, her determination to live as the star she saw herself as was noticeable.

People laughing at her, talking about her, etc seemed to make no difference as she did what she wanted to do regardless.

I never met her in person, but from time to time, I would watch her livestreams. La Gata Salvaje Miau Miau often deleted her Facebook profile, so it was hard for me to keep up with her as only Facebook friends could see her livestreams.

As I said before, Maria faced many of life’s challenges. One bit of drama that comes to mind is Maria Luisa Guity Chavez’s appearance on The People’s Court Television Show. In Case #25244 (“Fouling Up a Friendship”, Original Airdate, March 14th 2016), Maria Luisa Guity Chavez had a dispute with a former friend over paying that friend for babysitting her children.

In short, Maria paid in advance and because of an incident, the Babysitting didn’t happen, so Maria wanted her money back.

While most would have disappeared over the shame or embarrassment over that appearance on that Television Show, it appeared that her notoriety increased.

Maria went on to appear on a Punta Rock song with Garifuna Outlawz and even had performed at Shows and Birthday Parties.

In her passing, Family and Friends took matters into their own hands and set about trying to make sure that Maria Guity Chavez had a proper burial. Promoter Edita Colindres’s devotion to Maria had no boundaries.
